As usual whenever Hooter's Bay Area and DSP play, there is never a dull moment. The game started out with Hooter's scoring first only 2:09 into the first period. DSP only 37 seconds later tied the game 1-1 on a fluke goal that goalie Adrian Brazil physically stopped at least three times before it trickled into the net.

After a reality check, Hooter's regrouped and scored 3 un-answered goals ending the first period leading 4-1. Two additional goals were scored in the second period before DSP was able to score their second making the score 6-2 at the end of the second period.

At the 12:21 mark of the third period, Hooter's scored a short handed goal by John Van Hoy making the score 7-2 before DSP scored 2 additional goals making the final score 7-4 and crowning the Hooter's Bay Area Hockey team the SIAHL Division "DDDD" Champions for the 2009-2010 Winter season.

This championship is especially gratifying on two counts:

1. DSP Defeated Hooter's (then called the Cougars) last season in the championship game and beating them this season was extra gratifying.

2. This is the first season that Hooter's Bay Area Hockey team has been in existence and winning the championship for Vice President Doug Kappy of the Hooter's Bay Area restraunts was SWEEEEEET ! ! !
