The game wasn't looking too good 13 minutes into the 1st period with Hooter's at the short end of a 5-0 score. Hooter's just couldn't get it together as a team and the emotions were running high on the bench about the thing's not going right on the ice.

Then it started, with a little over 6 minutes to go in the 1st, Hooter's got on the board with an unassisted goal from Defenseman Roman Mosqueda and with only 28 seconds left in the 1st, Roman got his second goal which was short-handed.

Hooter's then settled down in the second period scoring 2 more goals, the first being unassisted by Center Eric Gruba and the second being a short-handed goal by Forward Randy Ayento making the score 5-4 at the end of the second period.

The third period was a wild one to play and watch. Smell the glove opened up the scoring with a goal at the 15:55 mark extending their lead to 6-4. Hooter's answered back with a goal from Center Andrew Tupper narrowing the lead to 6-5. less then two minutes later, Hooter's tied the game a 6 with a goal from Center Joel Gutierrez. At the 6:31 mark, Smell The Glove took the lead once again 7-6. and called a time out.

Once play resumed, Hooter's Bay Area knew they had to work harder and score some quick goals to at least get a point out of the game. With that said, in 59 seconds Hooter's scored two short-handed goals in a row, one by Forward Randy Ayento the other by Center Andrew Tupper giving Hooter's Bay Area the lead for the first time 8-7. Smell The Glove showing how good of a team they are came back and tied the game 8-8 with 2:20 remaining.

The next 2:20 was by far the most intense hockey I think any of the Hooter's team had ever been involved in. The puck went back and forth between the two teams with no one giving up the middle of the ice until 4.5 seconds left in the game, Defenseman Roman Mosqueda got a breakout pass and weaved his way down the ice and scored his 3rd goal of the game giving Hooter's the win 9-8 with 1.7 seconds left in the game.

The final score of this game in no way reflects the great goal tending by both goalies who faced a total of 90 shots and mad some spectacular saves !

Hooter's next game is Sunday, November 21st at 6:30pm against NVIDIA at Sharks Ice San Jose.
