The Hooter's Bay Area team fell short in this past Saturday's game against the Blade Runners 7-5 giving Hooter's first 09/10 regular season loss. Due to the unusual time and day of the game, Hooter's was missing several players from the bench which resulted in several adjustments to be made in the line up. Not making any excuse for the loss, the Blade Runners came out ready to play and won their first game of the season.

As a team the overall play by Hooter's was not up to it's norm allowing the Blade Runners numerous 2 on 1's and breakaways which resulted in Goalie Adrian Brazil able to make the intial shot blocks. However, no help from back checking "O' or the "D" gave second and third shots to the Blade Runners resulting in goals.

Even though the loss was a hard one to take, Hooter's is still in a three way tie for second place in the division.

This coming Sunday's game (October 25th, 7pm) against The Rebellion (one of the teams Hooter's is tied with) should be a good one.

Injury report: John Van Hoy should be back in the line up after a bout with the flu.

Randy Ayento chould be back in the line up within two weeks after suffering a strained groin a month and a half ago.
