Hooter's Bay Area and OHC 2 battled to a 0-0 tie after the first period of play with stellar goal tending by both goal tenders Marco Paz (backup for Hooter's Goalie Adrian Brazil who is out with a knee injury) and OHC 2 goalie Chuck Martin.

OHC 2 broke the scoreless tie with a power-play goal by Brian Silva at the 11:33 mark of the second period. Hooter's responded at the 2:35 mark with a goal by Rolf Haag to tie the game at 1-1.

OHC 2 scored their second goal, again by Brian Silva at 17:35 in the third period to go ahead 2-1. Hooter's had too really tighten up the defense and were able to do so and were able to come back and score their second goal by Eric Epperson with 3:03 remaining in the game. Thing's really got interesting after this, the game got chippy and penalties were called on both teams, and with only 6 seconds remaining in the game, Hooter's forward Randy Ayento was able to slap in a rebound shot and scored giving Hooter's Bay Area a 3-2 victory.

Hooter's Bay Area's next game is this coming Sunday, February 26th at 9:45pm at Sharks Ice San Jose on the North Rink.
