Hooter's Pulls Out A Tie With The Stampede

This past Sunday night's game against the Stampede was a hard faught game all the way to the end. At 4:14 of the first period Winger Donnie Devinny put Hooter's ahead 1-0 with a great breakaway and shot.

The Stampede tied the game 1-1 at the 19:47 mark of the second period. From this point on, both goalies got stubborn and stopped numerous shots keeping the game locked up.

With a little more then 2 minutes remaing in the game, the Stampede scored their second goal of the game. With a minute and forty-two seconds left in the game to take the lead.

Hooter's called a time out with the face-off deep in the Stampede zone. After a discussion on the bench, Hooter's pulled their goalie for the 6th skater. After winning the face-off and battleing to keep the puck in the Stampede zone, Devinny centered a pass to Rick Beach in the slot from behind the net and Beach one timed it home with 45 seconds left in the game giving Hooter's the tie 2-2 final score.
